A few years ago my mother started writing articles that focused on restaurants around NYC. She submitted them to the World Journal and surprise, they were a hit. For the past few years I’ve accompanied her on quite a few food excursions, and picked up quite a unique viewpoint on fine dining myself.
When we were preparing her last book, I proposed a full scale website focused on fine dining around NYC. We called it EatBigApple, a name which was shut down by book editors but retained for the website URL. The blog was popular for a few days, but then we accidentally let it die out when the registration expired.
With much more experience in website design/maintainace/seo, I’m glad to announce that http://www.eatbigapple.com will relaunch in February. Will I one day be feared/respected like Frank Bruni? Honestly a few free dinner and I’ll be more than happy.
