For the past 2 years or so, I’ve been working on delivering the next version of Firstrade to our loyal customers. In the eyes of many, Firstrade has always been a mediocre brokerage firm, especially in the areas of technology. This new site, hopefully will change everyone’s minds.
It’s still web based, but it’ll change people’s perspectives on what’s possible in a web browser. Yes, it still supports IE6. (take that, facebook!)

The software’s currently in a private beta, hopefully opt-in beta will follow soon. Then it’s time to use the power of Pay4bugs to reward users for testing the software, and bring it live in record speed.
For the past few years, Firstrade’s been secretly working on the next generation trading system. We obviously weren’t sitting around while competition and technology were powering ahead.
Well, I’m thrilled to let everyone know that today Firstrade’s next generation system entered beta. It’s still a small, by-invitation only beta. Early feedback is extremely favorable.
